INCERT in Athens: shaping the future of EU Digital Identity Wallet certification

Our team recently attended European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA)'s Ad Hoc Working Group plenary meeting in Athens, bringing together European experts working on the EUDIW cybersecurity certification scheme.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: under eIDAS 2.0, every EU Digital Identity Wallet — used for secure online authentication and to store/present personal documents — must pass a cybersecurity certification before reaching citizens.
National schemes will eventually align with a unified European scheme, with certificates mutually recognized across Member States.

Since INCERT is supporting the development of Luxembourg's national EUDIW certification scheme, we have a direct stake in this process.
The Athens meeting gave us valuable insight into how ENISA's scheme is taking shape, helping us align our national approach for a smooth future transition.
