Mongolia

We assisted the government in planning and establishing a new ePassport system, including PKI, Public Key Directory (PKD), and Certification Authority components. We also conducted technical assessments of their national civil registry and biometric database.

Nigeria

We provided comprehensive technical assessments of the country's ePassport and national ID card issuance processes. This included evaluating the biometric database and testing mobile border control kits.

Republic of Palau

We are actively supporting the country's transition from non-electronic passports to secure ePassports. This involves designing tender specifications and assessing current passport issuance and border control processes.

Modernizing ePassport Systems and Border Control

Senegal

We guided the creation of a national PKI used for authentication, digital signatures, and timestamping. This infrastructure enables government entities, businesses, and citizens to digitize their administrative procedures securely.

Ethiopia

We assisted in setting up a national PKI that allows citizens to securely access government e-services and digitally sign official documents.

Establishing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

Sri Lanka

We delivered targeted workshops for immigration, border control, and civil aviation authorities.

We trained technical personnel in ePassport issuance, PKI management, and biometric handling.

Antigua and Barbuda

We contributed to regional seminars on air travel border control management, sharing vital knowledge on PKI and PKD frameworks with local teams.

REPRESENTATION IN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

  • ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) - Official Luxembourg delegate to the ICAO Public Key Directory and to the Traveler Advisory Group.

  • ISO (International Organization for Standardization) - Some of INCERT team members are actively participating in the development of new standards on information security, cybersecurity, and privacy protection.

  • IATA (International Air Transport Association) - Official Luxembourg representative to the Control Authorities Working Group

  • European Commission - Official Luxembourg representative to the Article 6 Committee responsible for defining technical specifications applying to ID documents.

  • UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) -Official Luxembourg representative to the Working Party 29 in charge of the harmonization of vehicle regulations.
